Day 35 - X Stretch
It's hard to believe I have done 5 weeks already. I squeezed this routine in at 10 PM tonight. I didn't really want to, but I recognized that I needed to stretch, especially after Legs & Back on Monday and Kenpo Karate yesterday.

Day 28 - Rest or Stretch
Today is the last day of Week 4 - Recovery Week. I had the option of either doing Stretch or resting. After Cubs tonight, I am feeling pretty wiped so I will hit the hay and get a full night's rest. Back to strength training tomorrow!

Day 25 - Stretch
I decided to go for a run instead of stretching today. I needed to sweat out the toxins from last night's emptying of my good friend's bar. Literally emptied. I have found that the best way to shake off the effects of over-indulgence of that nature is to go for a run. It gets the metabolism going and gives me a chance to sweat.

Day 21 - Stretch/Rest
I had fully intended to stretch today, but did not have time before the Cub meeting. After we returned home and put the kids to bed, I tried hard to stay awake to go do the exercise, but couldn't do it. Day 21 can also be a rest day, so I guess that is what I needed more than a stretch.

Day 14 - X Stretch
X Stretch felt good today, I am more flexible than last week and the 60 minutes of stretching really helps prevent injury. It's tough to fit it in before Cubs at 6:30 since I get home shortly after 4:00. It's worth it, though!

Day 7 - Stretch
Today was scheduled to be either rest or stretch. I chose to stretch because I knew that I needed it. It was good to relax and stretch for an hour, to really focus on my breathing and relieving my muscles and sinews of their stress from the past week of intense exercise.
This routine gives me strength to continue exercising tomorrow.

Day 6
Kenpo! What a fun workout! Martial-arts moves for an hour, maybe that's why those UFC guys are so fit. Probably my favourite routine so far, and not just because there was no Ab Ripper X after it!
Nutrition-wise, still going strong, though I am missing carbs a bit. I used to be a heavy-duty bread eater, so having no bread all week is a big change. I feel great, though, lots of energy and not sluggish getting out of bed in the mornings. This is how no carbs must feel. Strangely enough, I have no cravings for fast food restaurants, which is a good thing.
I need the Stretch routing tomorrow to get more flexible again, I feel like I am tightening up with all of this rigorous exercise and no real amount of stretching afterwards. I may simply take more time after each workout to stretch by myself.
